ALANOD
only uses aluminium of high purity and quality, thereby producing high quality
semi-finished products, a prerequisite for the production of the highest quality
louvers and reflectors.
At the ALANOD factory, a high quality oxide film is applied to the aluminium
surface, giving an inert transparent protective coating. This oxide layer
is durable, and to
some extent flexible, allowing the aluminium to be formable. As a result,
ALANOD can guarantee product quality for most applications. Eighty percent
of the production is used in lighting and suspended ceiling applications.
ALANOD'S objective is continuous improvement to achieve higher standards for surface-treated aluminium, always improving upon the present product standards. In 2003, ALANOD introduced their most reflective surface ever! MIRO-SILVER® has an outstanding total reflectivity of 98%. It is the most durable and heat resistant surface in the industry.

MIRO®, is a product of intensive research and development. MIRO is the only original 95% (DIN 5036) reflective optically coated surface available in a continual air-to-air mass production line. MIRO material can be used with the latest T5 lamp technology without concern for the high operating temperature.
ALANOD'S high quality level has been approved and recognized by the German Association for the Certification of Quality Systems ( DQS ) and the Quality Assurance Registration ISO 9002.
Since 1976, Alanod has set the standard for maximum total reflectivity -
