Surface Enhancing Technology
The
source of this premier surface enhancing system on aluminum coil is vacuum
technology. Well known in the field of optics and many other surface treatment
areas, vacuum technology has been used for more than 60 years. Essentially,
the technology uses a thin metallic layer of either aluminum or silver on
glass that is combined with a protective and/or reflection enhancing layer
system.
Vacuum technology makes use of different mirror components. While a batch
process can be used for small optical components, large volume production
requires a continuous process - a multi layer system with several vacuum chambers
one after the other, for each layer. The ultimate result is:
